Work Force Tool to Evaluate the Organisation

It will enable employers to examine the impact an old workforce is going to have on the functioning of the organisation, and the measures they need to take to include employees from different age groups.
The tool requires the employers and the HR managers to answer an online questionnaire of 30 minutes duration. The topics relate to the company, such as, training and development, recruitment policies, demography, knowledge retention, financial and health benefits, flexible working facilities, and workplace conditions. The feedback report is confidential, and includes various suggestions, by which the employers can have a multi- age group workforce.
Chris Ball, Chief Executive of TAEN, felt that this tool would guide employers to adopt, and implement work strategies that meet the needs of the organisation. It would also help to overcome issues, such as, change in the demography of the company due to lack of recruitment of younger and efficient employees, and the disadvantages arising out of these problems.
